Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has deep traditions of treating infertility using acupuncture and herbs. When is the best time to start?

 

It is recommended to start acupuncture treatment at least 3 months before the start of IVF (follicle puncture stage).

How often should acupuncture be applied?

 

During the preparation period, the treatment is performed on average once a week. 1-2 weeks before follicle puncture, the treatment is applied 2-3 times a week. Acupuncture is  recommended to be applied on the same day before puncture, as well as before and after embryo implantation.
